Oscar Pistorius is a one-of-a-kind athlete… and person. At the age of 22, he seems wise way beyond his years. I was able to have a long conversation with the double below knee amputee, who was only a quarter of a second off of qualifying for the South African Olympic team at 400 meters this past year. The awareness created for amputee athletes because of what Oscar has accomplished is off the charts.
