Lukas Verzbicas

Lukas Verzbicas is a very special 18 year old. Who else has run a sub 4:00 mile in high school and won the Junior World Triathlon Championship in the same year? He was enrolled at the University of Oregon this fall, but left after deciding that triathlon was his true calling. We had Lukas on to go through his plans to, hopefully, qualify for the 2012 Olympic Trials in San Diego in May.

Lesley Paterson and Heather Jackson

Lesley Paterson is coming off a huge win at the XTERRA World Championship in Maui. Heather Jackson took fourth at the 70.3 Worlds in Vegas and second in Oceanside last spring to 2010 Ironman champion Mirinda Carfrae. Paterson, from Scotland, was the only girl on her rugby team growing up and Jackson played ice hockey at Princeton before trying to make the 2006 Olympic team. They came in studio with Huddle and me to talk triathlon, rugby, hockey and much, much more……
