Don Shanahan was a 2:29 marathoner when he and his buddies at the San Diego Track Club decided to put on a little event back in 1974. It started with a run, then a short bike ride before finishing up with a dip in Mission Bay. He called the new creation ‘triathlon’ and the world was changed forever. Rasmus Henning from Denmark has done it all in the sport of triathlon.
