Sarah Haskins made the 2008 U.S. Olympic triathlon team, but missed out on making the 2012 team by about 45 seconds. She then turned her summer focus to winning her third Toyota Cup Championship and has won Cap Tex, Philly, plus Lifetime events in Minneapolis and Chicago. In early September she took home six primes, ended up second and pockets her biggest prize purse ever: $105,900 at the Hy-Vee Triathlon in Des Moines, Iowa. Haskins is also mentoring a group of women who will be participating in the San Diego stop of the Toyota SheRox Women’s Triathlon Series event that will be in San Diego on Sunday October 21st.
