E.J. Scott was diagnosed with Choroideremia, an eye disease that has robbed him of all but 15% of his eyesight. He runs marathons with a towel covering his eyes because sunlight is a huge issue for him. E.J. will be participating in the Allstate Life Insurance Los Angeles 13.1 event-he’ll be running the 5K- on January 13th. In 2012 he ran a marathon a month and raised over $144,000 for Choroideremia Research. E.J. came on with us to chat about the event- www.131losangeles.com and the challenges he faces on a daily basis.
