Let’s start with the fact that Kiwi Bevan Docherty has two Olympic Triathlon medals, a silver from 2004 and a bronze from 2008. He has stepped up to the longer distances and could be a huge factor come Kona in October. In his first Ironman in his hometown of Taupo, New Zealand, all he did was win by ten minutes, run 2:49 and break the course record. Nuff said?
