Alan Webb

cmr2Alan Webb has had a great running career, breaking Jim Ryun’s 35-year-old high school mile record and Steve Scott’s American mile record. But at the age of 31, Alan has decided to put his high school swimming background to use and to give triathlon a try. When someone has run 3:46.91 for the mile, 13:10.86 for 5,000 and 27:34.72 for 10,000, never count them out.

Darren Smith

cmr2Coach Darren Smith brought three of his up and coming young triathletes to the studio and the interview was eye opening to say the least. In studio with us were 20 year old Aussie Declan Wilson, 24 year old Brit Jodie Stimpson and 29 year old American Lindsey Jerdonek. How good a coach is Darren Smith? Six of his athletes raced in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Lesley Paterson

cmr2Lesley Paterson was the only girl playing rugby with the boys when she was growing up in Scotland. That love of getting dirty has served her well as she has become one of the world’s best off-road triathletes, having won the XTERRA U.S. National Championship in both 2012 and 2013, and the XTERRA World Championship in 2012. She has a cool new workout program that just launched at and our in studio chat with Lesley and her Behavioral Psychologist husband Simon Marshall was downright hilarious.

David Walsh
