Kelly Williamson just won the Pro National Championship at the 70.3 distance in Galveston, Texas. Her journey from Indiana to the University of Illinois to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and from the Olympic format to 70.3 and then to the Ironman has been an amazing one.
Terenzo Bozzone did four races-three of them 70.3 events- in 22 days this spring. The New Zealander came on to talk about everything from his hopes for Kona to his training with Chris McCormack. And yes, he is the leader in the clubhouse when it comes to the most important measurement of human performance: the bench press.
Clayton Treska was a 295 pound power lifter before making the decision to get into endurance sports. His goal is to complete the 70.3 event in Kona on June 5 and he insists that nothing will stand in his way.
