cmr2Since 1999, David Walsh has been at the very top of the Lance Armstrong Enemies List. The last time David came on with Huddle and me was way back in 2007 and the conversation was riveting. The timing was perfect to have the award-winning journalist back on to chat about Lance, Emma, Floyd, Betsy, and his current thoughts on the sport of cycling.

David Walsh – Part 1

cmrDavid Walsh’s latest book ‘From Lance to Landis’ has sure caused just a little bit of controversy. Lance immediately slammed the book’s content as old news and Walsh himself as a guy with his own agenda who was simply out to make money off of Lance’s name. Lance also insisted that anyone who was interviewed for the book had a personal axe to grind with him and should not be believed.

Bob and Paul spent over two hours interviewing David Walsh about his love of cycling, his history covering the sport and writing about his heroes and what we will learn from this new book about the culture of doping that is so prevalent in the sport. If you’ve got a long run or indoor cycling workout planned, we recommend podcasting this conversation. It’s pretty eye opening, to say the least.
