Martin Dugard is the co-author of the best-selling books Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus along with talk show host Bill O’Reilly. Few people know that Martin is a long-time runner who actually got his start writing for Competitor Magazine. His latest book is called The Explorers, and Martin came on to chat about the traits that make people take huge risks and venture into the unknown.
Marty Dugard currently has the number one and number two books on the New York Times Non Fiction Bestseller list, Killing Kennedy and Killing Lincoln, both co-authored with Bill O’Reilly. The story behind Marty’s success is a great one that began way back in the early 1990’s as a freelance writer for Competitor Magazine.
Martin Dugard is a life- long endurance athlete and his new book, To Be a Runner, is coming out in May. As an author, he has created New York Times Bestselling books on Christopher Columbus and Captain Cook while mixing in Chasing Lance, which follows Lance Armstrong’s seventh and last Tour de France victory. When he’s not writing, Marty can be found running the trails or coaching his high school track and cross country kids. Huddle and I always enjoy catching up with one of the best authors around.
