cmrAndrew Messick left his position as the President of AEG Sports, the owners of the Amgen Tour of California, to become the CEO of the World Triathlon Corporation, the owners of the Ironman. It was great to get a chance to chat with Andrew, a two-time Ironman finisher himself, about the differences he sees between the world of cycling and the world of triathlon.

Bob Roll

Whenever we get down about all the drug issues and negative publicity that we are constantly having to deal with in cycling, there is one go-to guy that always fires Huddle and me up all over again.  Bob Roll, as always, is totally jazzed about what we will be seeing in the peloton this year and his enthusiasm is infectious. Bob Stapleton

Bcmrob Stapleton is the General Manager of the T-Mobile Cycling team and he came on with Bob and Paul after Stage One of the 2007 Amgen Tour of California. In this wide ranging interview he touched on his disappointment in Discovery Channel’s signing of Ivan Basso and his understanding that the sport has to make major changes to get it’s credibility back
