Nickademus Hollon is 22 years old and just won The Barkley Marathons, where there were only two finishers out of 40 starters. The event starts when the race director lights up a cigarette, the participants are given an hour notice of the official start, you can’t survive without a map and compass, and there is a downhill on an 85% grade where you have two options: You can take Danger Dave Down or Pussy Ridge. Nickademus gave us some awesome insight into what just might be the toughest event anywhere.

Dean Karnazes is one of our all time favorite guests. He came on to chat about his plans to run a marathon in all of the countries of the world in 2013 and how much he loves creating his running adventures.
Heather Fuhr has won 25 Ironman titles around the world and the 1997 Ironman World Championship. So what does she do for fun nowadays? She ‘dabbles’ in trail running… and she’s a helluva dabbler. She won the Catalina Marathon back in March and broke the women’s course record, in December she finished second overall at the Ridgecrest 50K and broke the course record that was set by the legendary Ann Trason. On January 15th she stepped up to the Catalina 50 Miler and once again finished second overall and shattered the course record.
